Today I will talk about kidney beans and I will share a very easy and simple salad recipe. Kidney beans are one of the richest plant-based source of protein, commonly eaten all over the world. They come in numerous varieties and colours, white, creamy, black, purple and red.  It is very important to eat full-cooked red beans because, if they are raw they can be toxic. Last week was a long weekend because Monday was Labor day.  It was also my eldest daughter‘s birthday. To celebrate, my younger daughters decided to do something special so they bought a cake for her. At night we celebrated her birthday by cutting the cake.  On the next day, we went to Toronto to visit the city and visit my sons.  My daughters and I went by bus,    it was the first time I travelled by bus and I enjoyed it. When we got there my son was waiting for us at the bus stop to take us to his place. He surprised his sister with a birthday cake! We stayed there for four days and visited a lot of tourist spots. We went downtown and walked for a long time by the lakeside, where many other families were having a picnic.     We walked for three to four hours during day time and then again at night.   Toro
