My Daily Routine ( S Batool)

  This year I planted five or six small cherry tomatoes plants in my garden . We have a lot of tomatoes, some    I have grind and frozen.  I    made sauce “ chatey” every day. I also make a salad with them, you can roast cherry tomatoes and you can use them in a sandwich, on pasta, they will bring a great flavour. If you have a lot of cherry tomatoes, just rinse them and add some olive oil, one tsp brown sugar one tsp salt and mix well Roast them in a preheated oven to 350 for 30 minutes with the third rack of the oven. Today I made cherry tomato soup and it came out very tasty so, I am going to share this recipe with you! My daughter-in-law has also made a pasta sauce with these tomatoes. It looks very delicious. These days our community garden is green and looks very beautiful because here in Canada we can only grow plants in summer. Our winters are filled with snow! So, this time we planted some tomatoes, chillies, broccoli, and turnips which have all grown very well.  This morning I woke up as usual and finished my daily work, after lunch I went to the garden. First I cleaned all the yellow leaves in my spot that were scattered everywhere under the plants due to the storm. Then I picked all the red tomatoes. There were so many that I had to fill two baskets.  A gardener feels very happy when he or she sees that the plants they worked so hard to plant are green and have started bearing vegetables. That’s a very good moment for a gardener. Just like when a mother gives birth to a child and the child grows up and becomes a good, healthy and successful person, then she feels proud of herself!
