Cooking healthy food

 Cooking is a real art and I love to cook, for my family.we have childhood memories,of the aroma, that is coming from the kitchen on holidays, and even on regular days. Spices,baking bread and fresh dishes.Where I was born there was not even electricity.I am talking about 1975 to


1982. My mother was used to cooking, on a wood oven(where we burn woods) this was a hard life. That time I thought, that our mother and grandmother were uncrowned goddesses, of our lives. I learned from my mother to cook,the true goal of cooking, is to care of the wonderful bodies that we live in. I am not a nutritionist, but I am a housewife and mother of, six healthy children.I know how children's health is important.A good cook can prepare a beautiful plate, with the natural colors. We should give our children raw fruits,and vegetables in salads, or as snacks. Most of the time,I cook Pakistani/Indian food,because we are used to eat spicy food.When my children were young,they wanted to eat french fries, I gave them bake french fries,I used to cut potatoes and add some spices, like paprika, coriander powder,salt and two tbsp of cooking oil,then put it in the oven for 30 minutes and my children loved to eat. We should keep our children away from fast food, especially, when they are growing up. All children love to eat burgers,we should make burgers at home in a healthy way, as I make patties : add some spices and bake them in the oven for 30 minutes.I make burgers, for my children and they love it. Even now that they have grown up they still want to eat homemade 🍔. Next time, I will write a complete recipe for burgers with our spices.


Note:



Wash all the vegetables and fruits immediately after you bring them home from the market. We should wash our hands and everything that comes in contact with raw poultry. Always, you must clean your kitchen counters, after and before cooking. Make sure all meat is cooked to the proper temperature,to kill dangerous bacteria in fish, poultry and meats. Never, leave mayonnaise,or anything made with mayo on the counter. I hope these tips will be helpful .
