  Today, the number of people eating vegetables are increasing day by day, people are more concerned about their health than before.   That is why everyday new foods are being introduced in the market, which are made from different vegetables and lentils instead of meat.    I'm interested in it because I have a vegan daughter. Whenever I make a new dish with meat, I try to make the same dish without meat.    For instance, I make the same Fettuccine dish but Replace the meat with tofu and my daughter likes it.   Pakora is known as a street food in Pakistan / India.    On the streets, sold as snacks. These deep-fried snacks taste delicious. People make fresh pakora on the street and the aroma of the gram flour as well as the spices attracts every person that is passing by.    These pakoras are served with a variety of sauces. Samosas and pakoras are almost always served with tea whenever a guest comes over.    But the best time to make pokoras and samosas is during the month of Ramadan. Almost everyone prepares for iftar in the evening.    The gram flour batter (basin) is fried in oil. You can add some spices as well as some vegetables as you wish. The main vegetables are onions, potatoes, cauliflower, spinach, green chillies and eggplant. I make pakora in many different ways. Ramadan is a very special month for Muslims. Ramadan is the month in which the Qur’ an was revealed by Allah to the prophet Mohamed ( peace be upon him) to guide mankind. Fasting is one of the five fundamental principles of Islam. During Ramadan,  Muslims do not eat or drink water from dawn to sunset. People wake up well before dawn  to eat their first meal of the day and they do their morning prayer.   During the day they don't eat or drink. After sunset, the family gathers together and break the day’s fast with dates and water. It is called “iftar”.  Since older people or people who are ill can not fast, they can give a small donation to the poor for each day ‘ as much as they can.     Ramadan is the ninth month of the 12 months of the Islamic calendar.
