 With summer around the corner, there are many tasty fruits that we can eat. They are good for the nervous, and respiratory system, it  leads to a healthier looking skin.It contains 80% water with high neutral sugar giving energy to one when eaten fresh and ripe. There really is not enough that can be said about the importance of drinking water. Water hydrates the body first. Another great thing about drinking a lot of water,it helps our skin to look radiant and beautiful. We should also walk every day about one hour. In summer, we have to eat vegetables and fruits. Fill up on these foods that are good for us and our family. If you have a small place in your backyard, it is a good decision to grow your own organic vegetables garden. Eating your own harvest organic vegetables will be much more healthier. They will be more natural than any other vegetables that you will find at the supermarket. Cooking healthy food

 Cooking is a real art and I love to cook, for my family.we have childhood memories,of the aroma, that is coming from the kitchen on holidays, and even on regular days. Spices,baking bread and fresh dishes.Where I was born there was not even electricity.I am talking about 1975 to 1982. My mother was used to cooking, on a wood oven(where we burn woods) this was a hard life. That time I thought, that our mother and grandmother were uncrowned goddesses, of our lives. I learned from my mother to cook,the true goal of cooking, is to care of the wonderful bodies that we live in. I am not a nutritionist, but I am a housewife and mother of, six healthy children.I know how children's health is important.A good cook can prepare a beautiful plate, with the natural colors. We should give our children raw fruits,and vegetables in salads, or as snacks. Most of the time,I cook Pakistani/Indian food,because we are used to eat spicy food.When my children were young,they wanted to eat french fries

Today, I will share my hobby. I love plants and flowers.I love to garden and I know that they require a fairly large amount of work. But I believe that gardening is a great way to relax. This is because I think I am working at my own place.A garden will be my own creation. If I successfully grow a garden, I will be pleased with the results and proud of myself. If you are planning to garden in your backyard,you may find benefits by including your family in the process. I know many children who enjoy helping their parents in the garden. Green chutney

Monday was a calm day, I woke up early in the morning as usual. First, I finished my daily cleaning, and after  praying in the  afternoon, I did some changes in the kitchen.This evening, we got our curtains for our  living room, which we ordered a few days ago.These curtains were a little longer than my window, so I fixed it. Afterwards, I prepared dinner for my family and that is it for my day. Today, I made pakora and coriander chutney. I will share the chutney recipe. Ingredients: 1 cup coriander leaves                           1 green chili.  1 medium tomato                  1 green onion Salt to taste                                                             3 garlic cloves (peeled) Method: Add all the ingredients to a blender jar and blend! We serve this chutney with our daily food and snacks. Note: If you want to make this sauce more delicious, put half cup of yogurt and add two tables spoon of this green chutney. Mix it well and it will be more delicious

How to make coleslaw

  Yesterday was a very busy day. My husband and children were off from work, so they got up late.I got up early, so i finished my routine cleaning. Afterwards, I prepared some of my children's favorite dishes.I made chicken by cooking it in the oven. We call this dish Tandoori chicken. I also made coleslaw and chickpeas plaau . We ate together. After dinner, the whole family sat in the living room. Everybody talked to  each other, they played games, and went to bed at 1 AM. When my family sit together and they have fun, I feel very happy. Today, I will share a Coleslaw recipe What is coleslaw? Coleslaw is a very famous dish. It is very quick and easy to make, with a little bit of sweetness and zesty and creamy. Talked to mother

This morning when I woke up, the first thing I did was  call my mother because in the last few days my mom had  some serious health issues. Today, however, she told me that she is doing well, thank God. I talked to her for about half an hour. Afterwards, I did my daily cleaning until the afternoon. At one o'clock, my husband came back from work a nd we went to the grocery store. These days, going to the store is a big task because of Covid-19. I waited thirty minutes out of the store in line. On my turn, I went in and finished my grocery. My husband was waiting in the parking in his car. Anyways,we came back home and I prepared dinner. We ate at 7:52, I prayed, and my day ended. Biryani

Home remedy for nausea

 As usual , I woke up early, because it is Ramadan and I am fasting. This morning after my usual routine ,we continued what was left of the spring cleaning. All the old shoes, clothes, jackets etc, I put them in multiple bags. All these bags are then sent to QC funds. So tomorrow I will drop these bags to a place next to a store located near our grocery shop where they will then be picked up by QC fund. When I finished my afternoon praying,  I started cooking for dinner. We ate at 7:48 and that is it , my whole day passed in a blink of an eye.  Today I want to share one home remedy ,it is for nausea. A cup of worm ginger tea,can help relieve nausea,here is the recipe. One cup of boiling water,add a teaspoon of grated ginger ,and it is best to drink it while it is still warm. You can use honey as a sweetener.It is the best for women during their pregnancy due to morning sickness.I hope this helps someone! It is a useful tip. Kheer (rice pudding)                  

Spring cleaning

 Today was a very cold day all day was snowing.I did not take a walk ,so I decided to start spring cleaning I start with old stuff that was not in use my husband and I we threw it out because today is recycling day,it took us almost two hours,we were very tired. Afterwards, I cooked dinner, we ate, I prayed and my day ended.          

Yoga for health

 Today I had a normal day,I woke up early in the morning and I did yoga as I do every day. I have been doing yoga since I was sixteen. I prefer doing yoga to maintain a good and healthy life,yoga techniques are helpful in maintaining good organs and other parts of body such as the muscles , joints,glands tissues and vital organs. I do three yoga techniques: Relaxation ,Meditation,and Deep breathing.Each technique has its own role and function.The best thing about yoga is we can do it at home or anywhere we want to do it. Sometimes I do yoga at night ,most of the time I do in the morning.I control my asthma by doing yoga.Before I was not use to drinking enough water,but my daughter told me that " you should drink more water it will keep you hydrated" so now I drink more water.It helps me with my stomach acid problem. The same daughter who said this to me is plant based.                    

How I clean my home

 Sunday was a relaxing day every one was off from work,so I rested,and also yesterday my both daughters had their graduation pictures. So, we went to drop them off and my husband and me we walked little. Afterwards, we came back home.Today was a busy day .. I cleaned,cooked,washed etc.I want to share with you how I clean my house with some home made cleaning supplies .There are many products in market we can use to clean ,but i have allergy ,I always stay away from chemicals,but I want to clean my home. So, I searched a lot and I found out that for cleaning the floor, Pine sol is better than the others ,I search that it is not bad for cats too. For other cleaning products, somebody told me that you should mix half cup of baking soda with half cup of white vinegar,three tbsp of dish washing liquid and two cups of water. Then I put this mixture in a spray bottle and I start to clean ,believe me it is the best thing that I found.Now, I use it every day on kitchen walls , in the washroom,e

Saturday is for movie night

Today was a sunny day,and little cold ,but it was not busy today. This evening my girls decided to do a movie night,so they ordered pizza,usually i am not a fan of eating outside food but I love pizza! In fact, sometimes I make pizza at home myself and sometimes we order out. On regular days, I always cook at home twice a day. When my children were young they did not like leftover food that is why I always cook fresh meal. But now that my children are older, they sometimes go out to eat, but because of covid 19 they can't go out to eat anymore.Anyways, back to my story! Today, we ate pizza and now after dinner we are going to watch a Bollywood movie (Mohabbatein) which is one of my favorite movie. Also, my favorite actors are in this movie. Now, I am going to join my daughters in the living room so that we can start our movie night.

The siamese cat Chand

 Today I will talk about my cat, her name is Chand. On November 1st my children adopted her. Since Chand came home we all took some responsibilities.  She needs to clean her teeth twice a day,we feed her three times a day. Now she is seven months old. We give her dry food but she likes tuna so we give her tuna once a week. She is an indoor cat and her coat is very nice and clean.Her breed is Siamese and she is the most beautiful cat .We clean her water bowl once a day,we clean her litter out once a week,but we scoop it on a daily basis,because cats do not like to use dirty litter boxes.Her vet told us : "Take care of your cat and she will be healthy long time".It is beautiful that you have a pet but it is a lot of work ,so you have to think before bringing a pet home,we have to take care of our pet like our own children . Now, she is a member of our family and everybody loves her.

How to manage my finances

 Today was a rainy day so my day was calm.  So I decided to share how I manage my finances. Everyone needs money without money we can't buy food,clothes and other needs. Everyone wants to save some ,it doesn't matter we make more or less. The best way is we should have a saving account in bank ,but it is not possible for everybody ,especially those who have children and just one person work like my situation. When our children were young all the time we needed something , so I did as a house wife. When you need to shop, you should check your local sale papers,which we get by mail each week. If sale papers are not available then we can check online . Usually it will display which items are on sale ,also we can find some coupons in every category,like handbags ,clothes,books etc.I do this all the time even for grocery I use them.We can do our part to save some money like this and this money we can use for children clothes,books and other use.  Today I will talk about carrots, it&

How to make sooji ka Halwa or Pudding

Today, I want to share with you a recipe it’s called “ Sooji ka Halwa” is my mother's favourite sweet. First of all, I will talk about my daily routine. Today was a normal day. As usual, I finished house cleaning. I pass the broom every day because I have a dust allergy. This afternoon the neighbour’s children came to our home, and they brought some muffins. They said,” happy Ramadan, this gift is for you”.their smile was very beautiful, I hugged them, and they left. I told my daughters, and they were so touched, and later my daughter baked some cookies and gave them to them. They were very happy!  Today i woke up around 3 am because today is the first Ramadan this is why i was up so early in the morning. I finished my morning cleaning i went outside to take a walk beside the lake, I saw in the lake two beautiful birds so i took some pictures and then i when I started coming back home i saw one aged lady and man who were walking in front of us and suddenly she fell down she was crying like a baby we wanted to help her but we could not because we did not have masks and felt very helpless. Anyways, the man was with her he helped her get up and they left. My first recipe Vegetable soup

i am a housewife i want to share my daily routine here i don't work outside in a office but i have a lot of work at home cleaning,cooking and doing grocery. Today i woke up at 5:30 am i prayed then i went to bed until 9am i got up,and i did yoga for 10 minutes and then i started house cleaning until 11:3. Once I finished cleaning, I cooked lunch at 1pm. I finished making lunch so I prayed in the after noon. i rested for 2 hours and i made tea for my husband and for my daughter after my daughters and me we took a walk we came back i cooked supper and then i prayed in the evening and my day ended..
